Bin
Laden video calls for next stage of Holy Jihad
UNDISCLOSED LOCATION, Afghanistan
- Fugitive militant Osama bin Laden called for Muslims worldwide
to continue their Holy
Jihad against the West in another pre-recorded video tape
released yesterday.

This tape was markedly different from his prior broadcasts
since the September 11th attacks allegedly instigated by bin
Laden which killed some 4500 people on U.S. soil, in that
it gave specific examples in ways everyday Muslims could contribute
to his holy war against the United States and their allies.
"Every little bit counts," said Osama, "we're not
asking you to give up your own life or even kill anybody, just whatever
YOU can give to the
cause.
"An easy way to contribute that is still very effective",
Bin Laden continued, "is through the subtle use of anti-American
sarcasm." Osama then demonstrated what he described as his
"favorite way to erode the cultural foundation of the infidels."
While watching what appeared to be the opening of Game 7 of Major
League
Baseball's World Series, Osama
stood and unraveled his turban while
placing his hand on his chest. Then, as the televised audience mouthed
the words to "The Star-Spangled Banner", the leader of
the al-Qaeda terrorist
network loudly joined in, using only the word "blah" instead
of the actual lyrics and sarcastically rocking his head from side
to side to the music.
Another clip from the video showed Osama intently listening to the
Voice of America radio broadcast. Each time any mention of American
military might was broadcast, Osama would nod his head enthusiastically,
turn to the camera and make an exaggerated "jacking-off"
motion with his right hand. The clip featured a voice-over of Osama
himself saying, "let's show the voice of UNamerica what we
think of their programs."
The video concluded with a close-up of Bin Laden offering these
parting words, "After long deliberation, we have finally decided
that our actions were wrong, and applaud President Bush and his
broad-based coalition of western powers for their actions in Afghanistan.
Allah praises the work they have done and there will be a special
place for them all in heaven, but only after what I hope are long
and happy lives here on Earth. NOT."
