Rice
testimony reveals secondary threats to US
Washington D.C. - Under contentious questioning,
national security adviser Condoleezza Rice testified
Thursday "there was no silver bullet that could have
prevented" the deadly terror attacks of Sept. 11,
2001. She went on to add, "We didn't have any idea
that werewolves were capable of terrorism."
Rice's joke elicited a chuckle from many in the room. The levity
was a welcome relief from the sometimes contentious questioning.
"No, I'm serious. " Rice continued. "Werewolves
are top on the list of President Bush's list of evildoers above
the Mummy and Frankenstein."
